This session will introduce ways for addressing the four KSDE fundamental through a visual lens. Become familiar with the practice of visual learning by engaging in art practices that address the fundamentals of structured literacy, standards alignment, balanced assessment, and high-quality learning. Engage in self-directed inquiry through the generation and evaluation of ideas. Investigate the pedagogical benefits of effective arts inclusion across content areas while addressing deeper learning opportunities, fostering curiosity, and exploring ways for increasing student engagement.
